Turn up the fun with these easy to do activities for the family. -Get a book about Braille, write your name or a secret message in Braille with a pin & paper. -Go to the library and get a book of "codes" for kids. Write secret messages. -Create an imaginary trip Where would you go? what do?
Make a passport. Design a map, travel tickets, a trip itinerary
Find pictures on the internet of your destination. -Cut out magazine pictures. Make a collage, or for younger ones, a counting, color or ABC book.
Older kids can design a "dream home" or "things I love" page. -Line up dominoes in a pattern / tumble them. -Do you have a nice summer rain? If it's warm enough & not stormy...go outside and splash in the puddles. -Take a long bath...(yes, mom's too!) Kids - boats, Barbies, toy dolphin, fishing toys ... rubber ducky!

the children sort through the pennies and arrange them in order from

be purchased inexpensively (under $5.00) at bookstores. -Make a Reading Tent Make a reading hide out over the clothes line with clothes pins, old
